Elysha Zamora, Owner + Acupuncturist

Elysha loves running Fremont Community Acupuncture (FCA) as she gets to meet a diverse population of people, while providing affordable healthcare. She has worked in both private practice and community acupuncture for the last 10 years and has a diverse background in both business and eastern medicine, with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University (2005) and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine (2009). When not working at FCA, she is helping her husband Bill run their other business, Ballard Custom Audio, and raising their two young sons Liam and Noah in Phinneywood.

Lyndsey Golden,  Acupuncturist

Lyndsey’s interest in the healing arts began in Arkansas where she initially studied to be a veterinarian, in London where she studied photography, and in Virginia where she received a B.A. in Art History.  The integration of her studies in the physical, anatomical and creative realms led her to obtain a B.S. in Acupuncture at Bastyr University in 2012 and a Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2014.

Lyndsey attributes her life experiences, including her mother’s death from cancer in 2011, to the development of her interest in helping people heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. The practice of acupuncture allows her to apply a holistic approach to the healing of each person’s entire being. Her treatments focus on both pain management as well as the emotional well being of her patients. She feels honored to be able to support the community with such a powerful and nourishing medicine.

Karen Sitzberger , Office Volunteer

Karen is the clinic’s dedicated Office Volunteer and is a long time Fremonster. That means she’s lived in the Fremont neighborhood since the time it was a funky artists' community. She was very excited when she found Fremont Community Acupuncture, as she’d really like affordable health care for everyone. The community acupuncture model gives her hope that people can obtain the treatment they need right away. As an acupuncture patient herself, she knows the power of frequent treatments for positive results.  Karen has a background in entertainment engineering and she’s also interested in holistic ways to achieve wellness. She’s happy to help out with the operations-side of the clinic. Give her a big hello when you come in.
